Role of certifications in providing transparency in sustainability
According to Sustainabaility mag article „Gone are the days where corporates could simply preach their achievements and expect customers and partners to take that as gospel. The world we live in today is full of data and insight that is increasingly important in business claims—transparency is now the key to cementing their actions.” (sustainabilitymag)
From the start we would like to be as transparent about sustainability as possible and certifications are key in doing so. From the TOP 10 sustainability certifications listed by sustainability mag our sneaker project bears 3 (FSC, SA8000, ISO14001) and numerous other certifications as well (e.g. OEKO-TEX 100, PETA, FDA and USDA among others), which is outstandind and we are very proud of it. Certifications of course vary somewhat product-by-product that is why we list certifications by each product separately.
